I just sold my Dad's house for 201k (valued at 95k 2 years ago when he died),
the market has gone mad!!! Just a normal 3 bed semi-detached in a rural
position.

Most couples get over 90% mortgages and lenders are now offering 4.5 times
salary (25 years repayment) - that is a millstone. I'm not sure what UK
average salary is - I should think 20-25k - first time buyers have a real
problem.
