Yeah well Komatsu(sp?) bought out CAT and they have diversified so the
build shovels, draglines, and truck engines now. Don't know if they ever
got to a D-10. When they were clearing the King Ranch for to make more
grazing acreage, Dad's outfit built dual D-8's with a funnel and brush
grinder between them. They
built a custom root plow on the back so they could brush, grind it and cut
the roots in one pass.
