Once the auto manufacturers start mass-producing the cars and pricing them low
enough to be attractive to the consumers at large, then it may happen.  I say,
MAY happen, because things like this come and go in cycles.  Remember that it
was 20-25 years ago that the small cars were the rage.  Now it's the SUV's and
vans which I loathe.
