Trish touched on the recent changes in the administration of this
list - with a thinly veiled hint for me to come out of the closet
and publish the announcement we all agreed several weeks ago. Ooh
slap my wrists!! Anyway, Jasper, our previous list owner has now
taken a very back seat role (I think he has set his subscription
to "Index" only), but I would like to thank him for his work over
the past year.

List Announcement

A few weeks ago, Jasper van Beusek, the current List
Administrator, announced that he would like to resign from his
task of managing the C-PALSY list.  We offered to step into the
breach left by his imminent departure, and formed a team of
administrators to take over the management of the list.

Several areas of responsibility were suggested and different team
members volunteered to do them.  These duties break down as
follows:

  Collation of CP Resource material               (Betty)
  Web technical support                           (Dan)
  General list support                            (Trisha)
  Technical SMTP/List matters                     (Deri)

If you need to contact any of us please send a message to
[log in to unmask] and we will all get a copy.

Unsubscribing

The information for unsubscribing hasn't been altered, it is still:

Send a message to [log in to unmask] and put the
following in the "body" of the message (not the "Subject")

unsubscribe C-PALSY

If this does not work, just pop a message to us at
[log in to unmask] (giving us your old e-mail
address, if it has changed) and one of us will manually
unsubscribe you.

Collation of CP resource material
---------------------------------

You will notice that Betty has very kindly volunteered to
maintain a resource for all things CP related.  This may be in
the form of a dedicated web-site or a regular FAQ posted to the
list.

Many of you already have your own CP related web pages and Betty
would love to hear from you with ideas on what to include/link
to.

If you want to contact Betty directly with your sources of
information, or ideas, you can post to the list or e-mail her
directly at <[log in to unmask]>.


We hope you now feel confident that the long term future of the
list is secure, and we look forward to being...
