Trisha,
I know your background was rough, but this men bashing is really
inappropriate.
I happen to married to one of the best dads in the world. True, many of
the everyday child rearing tasks are left to me, but that is because I
choose to stay home. Kyle does quite a bit with the kids when he gets home
and I am grateful he trudges off to work everyday to provide for his
family--especially , when I know he'd rather be home with us.
If you think I am some dainty little stepford wife, who wouldn't say
anything unbecoming of her husband....well, Kyle can tell you differently.
It's too bad you can't see beyond the past--I am sure there are some
wonderful men still out there. Too bad for Amber, as well, because she will
pick up on that negativity towards men, and it will taint her view as well.
Maybe you need to search out some good families with active dads and hang
out with them for a while, might just change your mind.
Respectfully,
Laura----------
