Just so I understand.... the Torah specifies a period of 40 days after which
abortion is not permitted?  Is the Torah ever updated?"  because if it's
not, very few women would have known they were pregnant at the time the
"deadline" passed.
Even today, there are a lot of women who wouldn't now.  After 7 miscarriages
(over 9 years), Janet and I have done a lot
of soul searching on the issue of abortion, and have still not reached a
decision.  For us, It's a moot point as we're in our
late 40's, but....
