i hope you do not think that i am chasing you. even random postings as you have time i consider to be contibutions to our group.

to answer your question, a person with disabilities is not obligated to educate anyone any more than anyone else is obligated.

i feel it is courageous to have to admit ones ignorance and ask to "really" be educated. the difference is if you are asking because you really want to understand and be able to help or if you are just being mean and rude. to ask about weigh is being mean usually because weight is generally well know, asking about something that is not nearly as well known might be genuine.

as far as taking a chance on irritating someone, you can irritate someone without asking a question. depending on ones day someone can just push a shopping cart too slow and irritate someone.

i guess it is the difference in stupid and ignorance. ignorance can be fixed, but stupid can not be fixed. what makes a difference is motive.

while i am not obligated to educate i do like to educate because it helps those coming after us. i however don't feel that anyone else has to feel that way. if i feel someone is really being rude i can crash them with the best.

give it a day and if if you still want to leave the list email us and deri, kat or myself can take you off. you do have friends on the list :-).
