Kathy Jo, are you talking about constipation or loose bowels? If you are
constipated, I've found eating fig Newtons to be very helpful, also dried plums
and dried apricots as well as several good sized handfuls of almonds or cashews.

Water is excellent for constipation too. Although there are no scientific
proofs for drinking 8 glasses a day, any added water is helpful.
