For any WA State residents with a disabled parking permit:
I recently received a notice in the mail saying that people with disability
parking permits had to go to the Department of Licensing & get their
disability ID. I went in yesterday ti renew my drivers license & brought the
placard. I was told the letter was a mistake & I didn't have to do this until
the placard expires (2002). I was not the only person of disability who went
down there & was then told this.

So before you all make a trip, you might want to call your local office to
