Roaches never bother me. When I was a young camp counselor in Texas,
Kerrville had a cricket infestation and I would wake up with five in my
bunk. At night the crickets would gather on streets under lights and a
braking car could slide on crickets. It was eerie! But lots in Tejas is
eerie. August is when the rattlers are foraging for food before winter and
also when they are hot, so the are meaner then.
