Yes, I can if you're in my age group (40s)! We were so crazy about the Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, etc. etc. I also liked Herman's Hermits, the Animals, the Lovin' Spoonful, Janis Joplin, Guess Who, Bread, Credence Clearwater Revival, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and America.

I've a bit of an exotic heritage, too, but that's for another story...
Talking about fun reminds me of a day at Matheny School back in the
early to middle sixties. I don't know where I got it from, but somehow
I had got my hands on a very shaggy black wig. I was wearing it, had a
crutch for a guitar, and was doing my best (or worst) to imitate the
Beatles. Can you imagine that? <g>

Exotic heritage, no? Second from the left, okay then. AND, if I'd been
paying closer attention, I would have noticed the Bobby and grandchild
pic
next to it and figured it out myself. It's just so great to have a duh
moment in front of half the planet.

I love all your pictures! It's so terrific to see what everybody looks
like,
to put a face with the words on my screen.

I especially love the "Deri2" pic, and I know the history. I love a Dad
who
lets his kids mess around with him like that, and then shares the fun of
his
family with the rest of the world. Good for you Deri. You remind me of
my
own Dad with that fun loving nature of yours. I remember him donning
one of
my Mom's more flowery hats, and prancing around the house like one of
the
Easter parade-type ladies at church.

Hmmm...on the other hand, maybe I should be a little worried (nudge
nudge,
wink, wink).
