Hi-

If you use a phone that you plug into the wall you can get a good speaker
phone and that would elemenate your handset problem. Also avoid phones with
buttons inside the handsets.

Another option is a computer-speeker phone.  You need to make sure that your
computer has a good sound card and exelent microphone on it though.  I don't
know if you can buy softwere to make your computer have this function--i
imagin you can.  A few years ago compaq had this on all of it;s Presario desk
tops but they had stoped putting it on when I bought my last computer 2 years
ago.  You might check and see.
