There was a bunch of stuff I wanted to respond to in yesterday's digest... I
hope it's okay if I combine topics. I'm too lazy to do separate e-mails.
; )

Mag - We decided against a lift in the back because it's easier to get into
accidents while unloading that way. You have to roll out straight into
oncoming traffic (or back into the space, which leaves the front of the car
hanging out to get hit.

Stephen - Your solution worked! I'm loving my new digest version... Thanks
again!

Ken - Thanks for the tip about calling the police. I guess I was shy about
bothering them with "minor" problems. If anyone else asks about the digest,
tell them to set their subscription to Traditional NoMime.

Yvonne - Thanks for the cornstarch tip. The talc powder has been doing the
trick for me, but I've been looking for an alternative. Baby powder has
been linked to ovarian cancer, and since that runs in my family already, I
don't want to heighten my risk anymore. I'll give the cornstarch a try.

Linda - I completely hear you about meeting people. What you described
happens to me all the time. People are always too nice to me, so much so
that it's insincere. But, I'm lucky to have a few good friends who I know
really like me, and don't feel sorry for me. They aren't afraid to tease me
or say no to me. Be patient... you'll find the right people in time. <hugs>

Re: hippotherapy - No matter what the cost, if at all feasible, do it!
I've been riding for about a year, and have seen unbelievable benefits. My
balance, my posture, the flexibility in my hamstrings, and my trunk strength
have all improved. Plus, it's so much fun, and it's great exercise.

Re: damp cold - I have the same problem with stiffness when it gets cold and
damp. We've had two days of solid rain in DC, and my hips are excruciating.
I can barely move... It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow, though, so I'm
keeping my fingers crossed. Not like I can uncross them now anyway. ; )
