Here's how to do it
Go to outlook,
Click on tools
click on options
click on Contact options
choose which way to set up you contact information
Also, if you are adding contacts and people using the set-up in Contacts
click on Name and you can separate the first and last name, this also helps
you organize your contact file.

You have all been so helpful in the past, I thought I would try again...

I am a new user of MS Outlook Express for my e-mail. I have found how to
organize my address book alphabetically by last name, but can't get my
"Contact List" to do the same...It is alphabetizing by the first letter of
the first name...Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Linda
