Hi Cindy,

        Couple of points here.

I make no moral choices for anyone else. Please note - yesterday
about 15 minutes apart I posted opposing views on the spanking issue. Of
course you do say to me - how openminded and generous - when we all know I a
vehemently against violence. To you brought the abortion issue - killing is
killing is killing in my view and I choose not to do it - I try to kill
nothing - I carry bugs outside. I have certainly accidently about 20 years
ago I hit a squirrel with my car - to this day I remember it and grieve over
the little squirrel soul. I would not have an abortion - however, do not
place myself in the position of God and decided what someone else should or
should nor do. I have noticed most Pro_lifer are also very much for the
Death sentence and guns - etc. So some killing is okay as along as you so
determine it is and some isn't. In otherwords - you play God.

I have have been extremely open about the fact I am not, have never
been and will never be Christian and yet you seek to pursaude me with the
very book - I do not believe in. Yep, that will certainly change my mind.
And I don't know whether you are the disabled one or you have a disabled
spouse or child - but do read Leviticus 21 - verses 16 thru 23 - in the KJV
version - which I understand is the irrefuable truth. I feel it says much
about God's views on the disabled - God - speaking to Moses.....

21:16 - And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
21:17 - Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their
generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer
        the bread of his God.
21:18 - For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not
approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or
        any thing superfluous,
21:19 - Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
21:20 - Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or
        be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
21:21 - No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall
come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he
hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his
        God.
21:22 - He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of
        the holy.
21:23 - Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the
altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my
sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
21:24 - And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the
        children of Israel.

Seems your "God" feels the disabled are a descration in his
sanctuaries and doesn't want them there. Gee, certainly, the God I would want
if I where disabled.

The Bible may be quoted to prove or disprove anything - Please get a
clue. If you find it necessary to tell your child - Its wrong to hit another
person and then hit - spank them to punish them at least have the have the
intestinal fortitude to see you are not practicing what you are preaching.
So tell your children - you may not hit another person until you have
children - then it is okay, becasue it is sactioned by GOD.

Now ,next time - give your own opinion - I respect that. I also can
quote the Bible to prove anything I want. I am however forbidden to harm. To
argue with you - if you are a BA - is an act futility, and to agrue with
another - could have them question their faith, and be considered an act of
harm. Therefore - when I do not refute your Bible verse horse hockey - It is
becasue I choose not to Harm, not becasue I can't refute them. I can. Not
only that I have 3 different versions of the Bible - ironically they all say
something very different. I have chosen the above as an example. I already
know what your going to say about quoting out of context, and all the other
arguements. Let it go - I will never choose Christian over my beliefs - but
I also don't expect you to give up your Christian beliefs.

                      Brightest Blessings
                           Trisha
