Elastic laces are good.

Actually I only have three pairs of shoes that lace up - a pair of trainers
and two pairs of ankle boots.  All the rest are pull-on high boots or loafers
or slip-ons.  No high heels (well, none above 2.5 inches).  I have problems
finding shoes right now that are fashionable that will stay on my feet.  I
refuse to wear pointy-toe shoes that pinch my feet.  Ugh.
