             How is job hunting going?


>     What does Amber need surgery on?
           Amber right hip has begun to sublux - the leg bone is pulling out
of the hip joint. It needs to be put back. The orthopedist said it requires
surgery.  He wants me to go to Johns Hopkins and use a specfic doctor there.

        I have found out there is Ronald McDonald House - and one of the
offsite people on the Synectics SAMHSA team - Dr. Leigh Henderson - lives in
Baltimore - who I really don't know, has generously said I can stay with
her.   I am exhausting all non-surgical possibilities first - so far that's
batting zero!! I have one more medical person to discuss this with.

>I thought everything was fine with her.
        She is doing okay - her leg does hurt periodically and I have
decreed no running - which she pouted about - she was very proud of her 9
minute 30 second/mile record. I am worried about damaging the joint. For a
CP kid she does super!!
