Nock on wood, I haven't had too much of a problem with spam on this email
address.  Now, my free email is another story.

Earthlink (of which Mindspring is a part) has Spaminator, which works very
well.  However even the best spam filter isn't 100 % effective and some
still
gets through, especially if they use fake headers and purloined email
addresses.
