Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with Mirapex. I have a junior
in highschool who has diplegic cp. He walks with effort...and uses a chair
for long distances. He has real problems with his legs constantly twitching
and hurting. He has had all kinds of surgeries throughout the course of his
lifetime...hips...and you name it. He just started on Mirapex and is really
happy with the way it makes his legs feel....but he can't stay awake...he is
an all A junior in highschool student. He is now getting in trouble for
missing too many days of school etc. We cut his dose back and that hasn't
seemed to help with the sleepiness. This morning he fell at school and had
to come home...he had not had the morning dose. He has been on the drug for
a couple of weeks and really likes the way his legs feel. Any help or
insight would be appreciated.

Cheryl
