I have been running Linux on my pc for the last few months now with very few
problems, and I admit, a feel of smugness as people struggled with worm
attacks a month or so ago. ;)

I have found there is nothing I can do in Windows that I can't do under Linux;
even MS Office files are easlly read and edited witih Open Office, an open
source office suite that is free - http://www.openoffice.org .

The only thing missing is a clone of MS Access, but I do have MySQL so
notthing's lost there.
