i think we all have to fight. i had the unforunate luck of a borderline
bloodtest result as a teen of rheumatoid arthritis that was very decisively
disproved after 30 something years. but when i started having my first
tendon problems in 1981, it was so convienent for doctors to say "sure you
have pain, you have rheumatoid arthritis." it was not until 1993 that i was
ask if anybody had confirmed that diagnosis and it was debuncked. i had
developed more injuried tendons and ligaments all over my body and no
treatment at all except being told how lucky i was that my arthritis had not
deformed my feet and hands ect, ect... blah blah. then al of a sudden one
doctor saw the lifgt glimer and said i had tendonitis and ligament damage
all over my body. did my carpel tunnel surgery promply retired and then i
spent 5 years fighting to get to another doc that i thought could help. mean
time not much treatment.
you are right something is rotten. you develope problems for 21 years, you
get a referal to a doc who gives you mayber 21 minutes to educate him to
what your problems are. after the 21 minutes he tells you he is not the one
you need and passes you to somebody else with another referal and so you get
21 minutes if you are lucky to take a shot at that guy. if you are lucky you
get to wait only 2-3 months to see these people for that presious 21
minutes. yes it is rotten.

Thanks mag, hugs, even cyber ones, help a lot. It's just a matter of
plodding along till I get what I need.....

Hey, is anyone else sick of having to put so much effort into
get one's basic needs??? Something's rotten here when so many of us
have to do this. There's never enough energy left for figuring out
what one WANTS in life. Don't mind having to fight this hard - DO mind
fighting tooth and nail and not GETTING anywhere. <mutter mutter>

Rayna, so wish I could help.
