my hard drive at home has given me notice that it was going to die. i have
been working all day to get it backed up on cds. i am about finished with
that. good news it stayed alive long enough if it makes it through 1 more
cd. hp said it had 3 days warranty left when i called. glad it did not wait
until next week. they will replace the disk. bad news is that it will be
about two weeks.
  i'll be in touch with all of you by my work machine anyway, but not as
much.
