six days? lol... yeah, that's not long enough to show discrimination in my book.  What does "articles" mean?

Hi Kat,

Over here, after you get your law degree (and wish to enter the legal 
profession) you have to be "articled" to a law firm. Doing summer work with the 
firm you hope to get your articles with is a  good "foot in the door strategy", 
working for a retailer isn't (particularly if you then fail to show Employment 
Disability Discrimination when you sue them after working just 6 days!) . 

The US has over 1.1m lawyers, UK has a lot less!!
