It helps to have a savvy realtor that knows the meaning of "accessible".  We
dealt with some real mental midgets when it came  to issues like that.  It's
great your realtor did the running around for you.  We had several instances
where we were shown places that were nothing at all like our specs.

The house my wife and I bought 4 years ago was not listed as
"accessible," even though it has 36" doors throughout, the tallest door
threshold is 1", both bathrooms have 5 foot turning radii, and it has a
roll-in shower.  Our realtor knew what we were looking for, and knew the
right questions to ask.
