we need to know that new people on this list do not know of some of the
unwritten taboo subjects that we oldtimers have came to just understand.
maybe before the claws come out we should just send a matter of fact
(gentle) statement to the offending newcomer that the subject is rather
taboo.
  but, lets do drop it now.
