I fell on an escalator at a casino in Mississippi and it terrified me. The
security guard(A BUBBA)  just stood there dumb-founded. A well-dressed
Black man
hit the stop button and ran up and scooped me up and saved the day and was
gone before I could thank him. My back looked like someone had gone down it
with a garden rake. Those grids of the step are as sharp as razors. I spent
the rest of the night in the paramedic's office with her bandaging me and
taking pictures.
