Sorry it's taken me so long. Been a crazy summer. My father's been in the
hospital 3x in a month. He had a stroke, seemed ok, recovered a lot
function. However, his chest has been filling with fluid and has sent him
back. He lives 1 1/2 hour away. Plus been battling mind numbing fatique
for the last 6 months and can't figure out what's going on. Started out
just tired now, I can sleep 12 hours, take a nap and sleep 12 more hours and
still be tired. Too young any how, here's a start.

Also, had someone volunteer to go to one of the other listservs and look up
specific people in the region your moving to if you would like. They may or
may not be certified by an agency but, they will at least be active in their
profession.

I am not certified but here are some web sites that may help you.

1. The Healthy House Institute. http://www.hhinst.com Choose Articles, then
choose Healthy House Construction and Healthy Construction for Healthy
People.

2. Environmental Construction Outfitters.
http://www.environproducts.com/eco.html
Order their catalog, which contains information for various building
products.

3. Universal Design.
http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/archives/collections/html/mace_mc260.html.

4. The Home Modification Action Project (HMAP).
http://homemods.org/library/blue/.

5. The Joint Center on Housing. http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/jcenter
This gives info on housing needs for people with disabilities.

Hello all, I'm looking for people who are certified in home adaptations. I
know someone who want to move to Florida and wants to make sure they can
make their home accessible to a wheelchair. Know where I can look for this
information?
