List members,

I know many of you tire of my posts on Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, but we
have our Medicaid hearing on reimbursement of HBOT resuming in a couple of
days. One of the things the state is saying is that there have been no
double-blind controlled studies with cp kids.

I know most folks on this list are adults, but I would think the
subscribers here would know--of all people--is there a long history of
improvement in cp through placebo treatments.

My guess is there is not. Otherwise my little boy wouldn't be on the floor.
If there's no history of improvement with placebo, then why the necessity
for a double-blind controlled study?

For anything?

Thanks. I really look forward to as many responses as possible.
