FABULOUS!!! I will check this out! We are on the east coast but my
daughter really just wants to "talk". Finding friends will come with
talk!

I will report back on our review for the information of this group.

Marilyn

Subject: LISTSERVs for youth and young adults

Friends,

Yesterday I was reading on here that some of you would like to belong to
LISTSERVs that are directed towards youth and young adults. I did some
checking around and writing on other LISTSERVs that I belong to.
Somebody
e-mailed me names of two LISTSERVs and I wanted to pass them along to
you.

EastCoast-n-Disabled
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EastCoast-n-Disabled
Geared toward people on the east coast of the US, but there are quite
a few members from other areas. This one isn't specifically targeted
to young adults, but I think most of the members are fairly young.

GimpGirl Community
http://www.gimpgirl.com/lists/
Geared toward young women with disabilities, there are actually four
different lists here.

Thanks,
Anthony
