Thanks for the link, Meir!

Yes, I was trying to say it's not only Christians that have a celebration this time of year and Jewish people do charitable things too.  In fact, it's a mitzvah to do it all year round, not just once a year.

But"tzadaka"  comes from the root word  "Tzedek" justice

Faar more enduring than " presents" o or what have you.
