Pat and all
It was interesting reading your e-mail. Dave had almost always lived at
home except when he went to college. Also marriages can work even with a
large age differece. Dave and I have been married for
4 1/2 years now and he is 28 and I am 35. We also have 6 kids 3 are ours
together but he has also adopted the 3 older ones. His family is very
important to both of us, I get along with them very well and they know to
not to butt into our business but are there when we need them.
Dave's CP is mild as he is a right hemi but he does have grand-mal seizures
and that is what the kids are more aware of. They don't scare the kids they
just have had to learn what to do if I am not around..... They even listen
when he is in the shower and tell me if they here "funny" noises comming
from the bathroom....
I basically tell anyone that askes if a person makes you happy go for it
don't worry about the age or if they have a disabilty. We all have some sort
of disability. Just be happy that is all that matters :)
