Anee,

        We all are related to opinionated people. Your grandfather is xx
years old, and, as a friend of mine says, "If Grandpa hasn't change in xx
years and you are expecting him to, it's you who has the problem, because
others are not going to change just because we wish they would."

Just something to think about.
