I've been on valium, baclofen and zanaflex they were about to suggest botox
and I refused. If you take one of the three meds I've mentioned I suggest
listening to meditation type music like Reike and try stretching exercises.
I've tried some yoga but realistically I couldn't attempt some of those
positions but all what matters is to be able to relax and focus your mind on
a part that you want to move. People make fun of Kung Fu but I've learned
how to make my spastic arm be under control for at least a brief period of
time. The longest was 45 minutes by myself and 15 minutes in a crowd. Just
clear your mind and focus on what you want to do. It will take time but it
can be done.
