Do you think they are going to lose some votes because of Palin's acceptance
of their teenage daughter's pregnancy? I don't know about you, but I do know
quite a few who frown on teenage pregnancy, one is my cousin who really
surprises me she is a sweetheart but when it comes to that she turns her
face. I myself think if you parent, you haven't to worry, it could still
happen but less likely.
I had a friend look into the budget cuts in Alaska, here's what he found.
Okay, I think I found the issue, and I'm relieved to say that it looks like
the 62% "cut" in special education funding is actually due to funding for
one program, the Alaska Challenge Youth Academy Program, being moved to a
separate budget item:

According to that figure, she actually increased funding for the program.
I still have no intention of voting for McCain/Palin for a host of other
reasons, but I'm glad to see that unless I'm missing something, she didn't
actually cut this funding. She may be wrong for America, and I believe that
she and McCain are, but at least she's not the monster I was beginning to
fear that she might be.
