Hello fellow parents:

My name is Daisy and my son is Walker. He will be two on Nov. 1 and he has
mild cerebral palsy, most likely from being born 11 weeks premature. He is
doing well and is walking and talking, however, he is in ongoing PT/ST/OT.

I am writing because I am currently going through a divorce and am looking
for information on what sort of custody/parenting time arrangements are in
the best interests of a child with special needs. Has anyone been in this
situation before? If so, can you direct me to any resources or information
that would help indicate whether a 50/50 custody is appropriate or if a
child with special needs should have a primary caregiver.

Thanks so much,

Daisy
