It doesn't matter now.  No matter if we find something now, it'll just be
viewed with skepticism and disbelief.  The window of opportunity to use WMDs
as justification to invade Iraq has gone and passed.

By going into Iraq, losing control of the chain of command, allowing abuse to
happen in the prison, by ignoring the views of the world at large, the U.S.
has backed itself into a corner.  What looked like an easy win is becoming
more of a myth each time a solder is killed, each time an Iraqi loses his
life.  I fear for the new Iraqi government, especially the women.

This is the kind of warfare the US military is not equipped to fight yet -
urban guerrilla warfare.  They would do well to learn from the British and
the Israeli military strategists.
