I long time ago (1984) I was working as an advocate in the Washington,DC
area. A gentleman with a double A/K amputation called and was being evicted
from his apartment. After a long discussion and some research on my part, I
called him back. We had exausted all his options to prevent the eviction and
I said, "Frankly, Mr. Blank, you don't have a leg to stand on!" His response
was very gracious and thanked me my time and options I offered .....When I
hung up I burst out laughing at the STUPID thing I said.......
