Just my two cents worth-
When I was a kid I had about seven different surgeries
similar YM_M4I5S3S_0 what your describing.  I was
pretty miserable for a time but eventually that
passes. I truly hope things go as well as what the
doctor promises but I've learned not to put to much
hope in a doctors promise.  I say do the surgery and
consider any improvement icing on the cake.
