My own personal opinion:  I don't think of those as necessarily perks.  You
are trying to stay an active member of society and more than likely your
bills are higher than your more able bodied co-workers.  I don't have cp
but, I don't look at certain discounts for students (I've taken advantage of
this), seniors,  and other folks as not a problem.
(I do mind tourists getting gouged out of money in Ft. Lauderdale but,
that's totally off topic)
