Ouch. Medically I'm concidered an incomplete quad. It was first noticed at
15 but, I always knew something was different. I went through tons of
painful tests to get an educate guess for a diagnosis. There are many side
effects of FDRA; diabetes(not me yet), pulmanary problems(my lungs are week),
cardiomyopothy(I have an enlarged heart), deformed ankles, defness, eye
problems, little or no reflexes, bad coordination, scholiosis, and trust me
the list goes on. My legs move but not the way I want them to, my arms too
are effected but I use them for mobility in my manual chair. They lack but
as long as I use them I'd say I was fine. I can't stress this enough, I am
nowhere's near being the worst! I am grateful for what I got, especialy my
mind.
