Deri, thanks! I'd forgotten that you were part of the Admin team. We
celebrate every year not having to eat kidney pie, haggis, and some of the
other more disgusting things that some in the UK consider "delicacies."
;-{)}

Would we in the US be allowed to eat turkey if Ben Franklin had won the day
and the turkey had become our national bird? I think the bald eagle was
protected even before DDT took them to the brink of extinction!

....and throwing of the yoke of "imperial rule," although if Hilary is
elected, I'm beginning to think we might be returning to "ruling families,"
since it wil be 20 years alternating between two families! I'm just a
little grouchy today I guess! I'll have to do a little research on the
reaction to John and John Quincy Adams, and Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt's
elections.

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950
