i both agree and disagree with trishes view. i agree
with her that i own nothing worth killing for. if
someone broke in and went no further than my living
room to carry off the stero and tv, i would stay in my
bedroom and call the insurance company.

now, having said that, i am living in the atlanta
area. there have been inncidences of beople being
killed and when the perps were cought, their reason
for killing was "to watch them die."

knowing that you are not sure that a intruder wants
property and should be left alone or if they wish to
just kill someone, and the fact that you can withdraw
no further than your home and having done that, what
is left is self defense. defending my family is in my
view is self defense also. yes, i'd defend my self and
my family, and do not think i'd have any remorse after
doing it.
