Kirby,
    My Son Tyler can sit for about 30 to 45 minutes at a time.  I usually
have to be sitting behind him because he has a tendency to throw himself
back.  But he is able to sit as long as his legs are in a certain position
and he can play with toys pretty well while sitting.  Tyler does not use a
standing frame.  I have talked to his PT therapist about one but she
believes that sometime kids don't like it because it is too confining.
Tyler loves to stand and does pretty well at it as long as he leans against
something or holds on to something.  He can't do it for very long.  The most
he has stood up is for 10 minutes.  He will stand for a long time in his
cricket walker because it has a lot of support.  We are looking in to
getting Tyler the hamstring lengthening surgery and some more botox in his
ankles.  The doctor says that this will not help his standing or walking but
we believe that it will make a big difference. Does your son use a walker?
If he does what kind?  I just found out about two walkers that might help my
son alot.  They are the smart or heart walker.  You may check into that for
your son.
