It might be my first alma mater, St. Andrews Presbyterian College which is
in Laurinburg, NC.  I don't remember any special programmes for those with
LD, but they may have those now.  The campus was built in the  1960s,
especially adapted for those with motor disabilities and that is what it
primarily was when I went there in the 1970s.

I highly recommend it to Jan, as it's got a really strong English department
and a very strong creative writing programme.  If you're familiar with Clyde
Edgerton, he was a visiting professor of writing there at one time.
