Jonathan,

        Try to pick a time(preferably not just before or after a date) to speak
with your family about your feelings. Tell them you appraciate their
efforts, but no thanks, you are a big boy now. It's hard when family
members treat your like you are still a kid. Tell them how this makes you
feel.
