Wanda,

Some would say that acquired disabilities are also part of G-d's plan.
Did I do that right, Kat, Meier? I'm playing the Devil's advocate here,
so if I offend someone, I want to be sure why ;-{)}

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.

YES MA'AM!!!!! We agree wholeheartedly and are of the same mind!

The difference is DEVELOPMENTAL disability versus ACQUIRED disability.
I
don't have to agree with the choices adults with acquired disabilities
make, but
I feel a duty to honor them -- its between them and God. Children, on
the
other hand, are totally different. They were placed on this earth as
they are by
God, and it is our duty to Him to care for "the least of these." God
doesn't
make junk.

Thank you, Beth, for the opportunity to get that off my chest. I can't
get
this opinion in on that other list. They won't hear it.

Wanda
