I've been here, but very quiet.  Seems that the media wanted to investigate
our agency's use of the Internet and email, so I decided to "lay low" for a
while.

Possibly have a story sold to a regional, big $$$ magazine.  Seems that the
US Fish and Wildlife Service wants to buy up a bunch of farmland around the
last bit of native prairie in Ohio (right in my backyard, actually) for a
wetlands project.  What controversy!  I'm doing a "point/counterpoint" thing
and it looks like it's a go.  The cash will come in handy now that Laura's
throttled down her jewelry business.  She should start chemo in a couple
weeks, but her spirits are holding up pretty well.
