    You can go to Web MD for laminectomy  http://my.webmd.com/
Search under laminectomy, or better yet, cervical laminectomy. Most I saw
when I search was about lumbar, low back. I am sure there is a big difference
in cervical lam's. Basically, it is a disc operation.
