my wife works for the county school for the profoundly retarded (both
handicapped and retarded.)(can't be mainstreamed)  the people thare are
constantly in a fight just to keep their facility. they want to send these
kids to a ranshacle area (i know the area) so they can use this facilty for
a elementry school for an affluent neighborhood. thses kids are not
inportant to most of the people or the county bureaucrats. no one cares if
they have quality facilities.
