To me being a Christian is very simple.  I have simplified everything in my
life as much as possible, and I've simplified that too.  If I strive to love
my neighbor as myself, everything else falls into place.  I don't argue with
people about Christianity or religion in general; it's not my job and it's
easier to love them anyway.  My friends know what I believe; I don't hide my
Christianity to avoid an argument.  I just plain avoid the argument.

People have free will to choose.  I exercise my free will, and I allow others
to do the same.  When I forget to love other people, things get pretty
screwed up.  In fact, I'm so screwed up that it takes a lot of my time to
pray and remember to love others.  I don't have time left to worry about what
they believe or what they think of my beliefs and my God.  Honestly, when I
do get smug about my beliefs I manage to get slapped down in one way or
another, so I'm trying to remember not to get smug.
